I've been going to this clinic for 15 months now (every three months) and I've been very happy with their services. I have been injecting Botox in this clinic and never had any complications. I will continue to go there and planning to do more than just the Botox.

I went in for facial hair removal and I was amazed at the knowledge and attention to detail that was given to me. I went back for face rejuvenation. They guarantee their work and also work with you until you are completely satisfied. I highly recommend it for everyone, to at least get a free consultation

I used a Groupon and was able to:
1) reached the receptionist easily
2) scheduled an appointment with no problem
3) reached them easily A SECOND TIME to reschedule
4) didn't wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment
5) never asked to tip
I also Received follow up advice and very friendly service. Verideh was very friendly and personable, she explained to me how the lasers worked and was kind.
I would have given the place 5 stars, but it's not metro accessible and even in car, was difficult to navigate to (hint: it's buried in a collection of two story office buildings that look like group homes!)

I've enjoyed my visits to Aphrodite. I was able to get a great deal through GroupOn (6 laser hair removal sessions for approximately $165). I'm African American and hella skeptical with people that don't look like me doing work on my body (ie. hair)...well besides manis and pedis BUT that's neither here nor there.
Anyone should be skeptical if you're going to a place that's going to shoot a laser at any part of your body.
My first visit was this past April... the technician (not sure of her name) explained to me the procedure, step by step, and also assured me that she put the laser on the appropriate setting to ensure that my skin would be safe. (This is essential for us girls who don't have a melanin deficiency... ehh that was a joke)
I also got to wear these cool glasses with green tint in them to protect my eyes...hella fashionable (ehhh, not really)
Now making an appointment is tricky. The lines are often busy, but I suggest calling between 10-11am if you want to speak to an actual human. Weekday appointments are best, because they're not crowded.
Today I was late for my 11:30am appointment, for reasons that will not be disclosed...when I called the receptionist told me to take my time and come anytime between now and 3pm.
I arrived around 12:45pm, waited for like 2 minutes and was IN and OUT. The lady even did my bikini line for $35. Soooooooo... I highly recommend Aphrodite. The woman are very sweet and make you feel very welcome.
